Oaxaca-Style Garlic Soup
It’s time to ward off colds and cleanse the body of toxins! A humble Mexican soup sopa de ajo, made with chicken broth Mexican cooks are famous for. Sometimes pasilla chiles are used for a smoky taste. Sometimes finished with fresh epazote and or a drizzle of mezcal. We suggest this simple soup served with toasted bread or tortilla chips, chopped chile, cilantro, and lime wedges. Get creative and put your personal stamp on this rustic soup with your market finds.
